How to filter aerosols in dentists’ studios?
The Aerosol is one of the main vehicle for viral infection transmission. The dentists community raised a major concern with regards to high amount of aerosol produced during dental operations: the use of conventional PPE such as masks, gloves and safety glasses may be insufficient to prevent the risk of contracting viral deseases. Moreover the aerosol diffusion around the operating area can contaminate the studio-environment and affect patients entering in. Finally, there is the challenging requirement to prevent aereosols diffusion by capturing and filtering the whole suspended drops.
