The advantages of polypropylene combined with the Top Range

The polypropylene advantages and resistance (semi-crystalline thermoplastic material with an excellent resistance to temperature) are combined with those of PVC, to obtain excellent resistance to aggressive and particularly corrosive pollutants.

An important difference compared with the standard version of the 4-Pro extraction arm regards the passing-through-base hose, i.e. the flexible PVC hose passes inside the base without interruption thus isolating the aspirated pollutants and preventing them from coming into contact with the metal parts of the arm. The hood, which is also made of polypropylene, is equipped with a handle for a simple and optimal handling.
The INDUSTRY model is available in 125 – 160 – 200 – 250 mm diameters and with a length of 2, 3 and 4 meters; the LABORATORY model extraction arms are available in diameters of 110 mm and lengths of 1 and 2 meters.

Applications

The Polypropylene extraction arm (EPP series) is particularly suitable within the galvanic chemical industry and petrochemical industries or for special applications in presence of aggressive and corrosive pollutants for steel. This version of 4-Pro extraction arm EPP series is composed of rigid polypropylene piping and flexible PVC hose.

Rotation and handling

The construction specifications of industrial 4-PRO extraction arms (EP Series) are also found in this special version. Three joints, three axes of rotation and maximum permissible rotation of 180° enable the arm to reach any working position, while the quad-pantograph self-supporting system ensures, in addition to stability and robustness, an easy handling during the arm movement.

It can be supplied with or without exhaust fan both in the hanging and standing versions.

Specifications

Extraction arm
made with rigid piping in POLYPROPYLENE (PP) with a self-supporting structure with four pantographs balanced by means of springs. PVC coated fabric hose couplings, operating temperature between -20°C and 90°C reinforced with harmonic steel wire helix (non-flammable M1 class). No metallic component is immersed in the suction flow.

Hood
Hood with handle made of polypropylene and equipped with two axes of rotation.

Basement
With passing-through-base hose and permissible maximum rotation of 180° the basement has a diameter of 200 or 250mm, for the INDUSTRY model and diameter 125mm for the LABORATORY model.

Wall bracket
Black painted steel tubular for the INDUSTRY model; galvanized and painted metal sheet for the LABORATORY model.
